Besides todays news, OTC Exchange had this to say on them today
Our alert for Thursday is IceWEB Inc., IWEB, and the stock closed Wednesday at 7 cents.

IWEB manufactures award-winning, high performance unified data storage appliances.

IWEB's proprietary IceSTORM storage management software, provides enterprise storage management capabilities for a fraction of the price traditional providers offer.

IWEB's product works in conjunction with cloud computing saving up to 90% on storage costs while reducing space, power and cooling requirements.

Before your eyes glass over understand this. Cloud computing is clearly the wave of the future and the world is ramping up for it. This is a super hot topic. Just a few minutes ago I put "cloud computing" in to Google news and found 23 stories just since yesterday. That shows you this is a hot topic. Everyone is scrambling to get a piece of it.

Check this out!! IWEB's technology was sited in a recent report by The Gartner Group titled "New Options for Low Cost Storage Systems"

Unless you work in IT you probably just said "so what". Well, for those of you that are not familiar with The Gartner Group, let me tell you. That is a big deal. The Garner Group offers objective insight on virtually all areas of the IT world. They have 800 expert analysts that follow who is who in the IT world. They cover 1200 topics, have offices in 26 countries and and put out reports in 47 languages. Over 12,000 CIO's and IT leaders pay to access this research so when they pick up coverage on a product the market knows about it in a hurry.

Well, this report came out just a couple weeks ago. This report could really help launch sales. Think of all the decision makers that will see that. Good stuff!!

In addition, IWEB has recently announced they've received new orders from several large government sector customers including the US Army, National Institutes of Health and the United States Geological Survey.

IWEB has also been going after higher education initiative which has led to a sale to the University of Virginia.

On another note, IWEB recently announced it paid off 2 of 3 convertible notes that were sold when they raised just over $2 million in November of 2011.

This is a big positive because IWEB improves its balance sheet by eliminating debt and also takes all those potential future shares off the market. Traders love to hear that companies are reducing the shares in the market because it is less supply and we all know that too much supply can have a negative effect on price.

IWEB may be about to heat up. Many stocks in this sector that sold off this summer but are now trading off the lows. You know what they say about that don't you? A rising tide raises all ships. This means when a sector picks up most of the time all stocks within the sector head higher.

IWEB may be that opportunity to cash in as these stocks head higher.

As always, do your own research, don't chase gaps, use limit orders
to enter positions, always use stop loss orders to protect your
position, and take profits when you are in a position to do so.

Good Trading,

Mark

Here is What You Probably WONT Hear On Todays IWEB Noon EST Shareholder Call By Tobin Smith | August 22, 2012, 1:18pm GMT Aug 22 2012 |

I had a very good conversation with new IceWEB CEO Rob Howe late last week about his mission for IWEB. He is a humble, no nonsense CEO and a Fox News fan to boot! After finishing our new research report on IceWEB, and listening to Rob describe his vision for the company, I penned a version of what I think you WONT likely hear on his shareholder call at 12 noon EST....but I think fills in a lot of the back story to the opportunity at hand with IWEB.

My version is pretty in-the-weeds about their technologybut I know that NBT subscribers are a LOT more sophisticated than the average Adventure Capital investorso this is my take on where IWEB is in the great PC-to-Cloud transformation food chain.
