Sprint Offers $100 iPhone Trade-in For VZ, T Customers

Despite persistent worries on Wall Street that carriers will cutsubsidieson Apple‘s (AAPL) iPhone, it seems there’s still plenty of life in that game:Sprint-Nextel(S) has announced its offering $100 off the purchase of an iPhone 4S if you turn in any iPhone from your existing carrier.

Obviously, that means new customers coming to Sprint from somewhere else, not existing Sprint subs trading up.

More info on the trade-in is available here.

Sprint shares today closed down 2 cents, or 0.9%, at $2.34. Apple stock closed up 26 cents at $530.38.
