Stocks to Watch: Stocks to watch: Best Buy, General Mills

CHICAGO (MarketWatch) � Best Buy Co., General Mills Inc., Monsanto and Commercial Metals Co. are among the stocks that could see active trading on Wednesday.

Best Buy Co. BBY �shares rose more than 7% Tuesday on speculation that the retailer�s founder, Richard Schulze, is exploring a bid that would take the company private. Read more about Best Buy.

General Mills on Tuesday raised its dividend 8% for an annual payout of $1.32 a share. The new quarterly dividend of 33 cents a share will be paid Aug. 1 to shareholders of record July 10. The company GIS �is expected on Wednesday to report earnings of 59 cents a share for its fiscal fourth quarter, on sales of $4.12 billion, according to a survey of analysts taken by FactSet Research.

Monsanto MON �is expected to post fiscal third-quarter earnings of $1.55 a share on sales of $3.96 billion.

Commercial Metals Co. CMC �is expected to report fiscal third-quarter earnings of 37 cents a share on revenue of $2.14 billion.

McCormick MKC �is expected to report second-quarter earnings of 60 cents a share on revenue of $965 million.

Lennar Corp. LEN �is seen posting a second-quarter profit of 17 cents a share on revenue of $885.6 million.

UniFirst UNF �is expected to report fiscal third-quarter earnings of 99 cents a share on sales of $311.7 million.

Lindsay LNN �is expected to post third-quarter earnings of $1.36 a share on revenue of $166.2 million.
