Stocks to watch Tuesday: EA, McDonald’s, DirecTV

CHICAGO (MarketWatch) � Electronic Arts Inc., Pitney Bowes Inc., McDonalds Corp. and DirecTV Corp. are among the stocks that could see active trading Tuesday.

Electronic Arts EA �reported better-than-expected revenue for the March quarter on Monday afternoon, though subscribers to its �Star Wars: The Old Republic� multiplayer game fell 24% during the period.

Pitney Bowes PBI �lifted its 2012 profit outlook to a range of $2.22 to $2.42 a share. A Feb. 9 outlook had called for earnings between $2.05 to $2.25 a share.

McDonalds MCD �will report sales results for April.

DirecTV DTV �is expected to report a first-quarter profit of $1.05 a share on sales of $7.03 billion, according to a poll of analysts by FactSet Research.

Tenet Healthcare Corp. THC �is expected to post a second-quarter profit of 7 cents a share on revenue of $2.35 billion.

Pantry Inc. PTRY �is seen posting a loss of 36 cents in its fiscal second-quarter on sales of $1.9 billion.

OfficeMax Inc. OMX �is expected to report earnings of 16 cents a share in the first quarter on sales of $1.87 billion.

Discovery Communications Inc. DISCA �is seen reporting a first-quarter profit of 60 cents a share on revenue of $1.06 billion.

Apollo Global APO �is expected to report a profit of 67 cents a share in the first quarter on sales of $575 million.

Wendy�s WEN �is seen posting a first-quarter profit of 3 cents a share on $608.1 million in sales.
