UTStarcom (UTSI) shares are trading higher this morning after it announced a pair of deals in China.
- In one deal, the company said it won a bid from Jinan Radio & TV Network Center to be its exclusive broadband solution provider.
- In the other deal, UTSI said it won a contract from Sichuan Radio and TV for an integrated IPTV broadcasting control project; the company will provide software and infrastructure development and content delivery network support.
Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
UTSI this morning is up 11 cents, or 5.7%, to $2.04.
